What are the possibilities for me in the next 12 months?

  • On January 22, I am going to my cousin Jason Hofer's wedding up in Peoria, Illinois. Which will be very pretty because the church is beautiful, but the end of January might mean snow, so we are hoping it won't be a dangerous drive up there.
  • On February 18-20 I will be going on another Catholic Youth retreat known as, "Teens Encounter Christ" the point of that weekend is to develop a better personal relationship with Jesus, and I have heard it is just as amazing CLI was for me.
  • On March 11-13 I will be going to Youth 2000 a Eucharistic Centered weekend, it will be my second one so I am very escited for it, and I will be seeing alot of my CLI friends there, some friends I have made since then, and I hope I will develop more friendships there.
  • On May 9 I will be turning 18, which I am very excited because I get to register to vote so I can have my voice heard, I will also be registering for the military draft.
  • This summer I have so many possibilities of things I will be doing, if I am lucky enough I will be spending 5 weeks at a college campus for the Governor's Scholar Program, and I will possibly be going to my first Catholic Youth Camp at Gasper River to which I am very excited.
  • In August I will start my Senior Year which I am both excited and afraid of because it is my last year of High School, there will also be so many things I do that year.
  • In November I will be going with my Youth Group to the "National Catholic Youth Conference" in Indianapolis, I have heard it is the most amazing experience that you will ever have because not only are you surrounded by close to 30,000 Catholics, but it is everything I have experience times 10.
  • In December if I am lucky enough will be once again attending KYA in Louisville.
  • The two things I am looking forward to the most this year is going to TEC in February and going to NCYC in November because I want to get closer to God and I also want to meet new people and make even more amazing friends.
